England 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Giverny Green

Having bought the unit recommended by Scottyav about I have to say it is a substantial bit of kit. Thumbs Up
I've not had cause to use it in anger yet but feel more confident regarding it's abilities than others I've seen.
No doubt time will tell.

I was on the brink of buying something similar but am going to place an order for the XS tomorrow....shame we couldn't do a group buy through a trader? Whistle

Quick question; do they have to be connected to the battery or can it be done through the 13 pin socket? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

If you mean how you charge them up I'm sure there is a 12v cigarette type charger and also a 240v 3pin plug charger
Ordered mine on Tuesday so can tell you more when it arrives Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Well - time for me to eat humble pie - I was one of the biggest cynics of these devices and it passed my first test with flying colours. I left the sidelights on my Mini on for 12 hours - after which there was no light coming from them, so battery properly flat.

I connected the Floureon this morning & it started on the second turn of the key Thumbs Up

The kit comes in a small case, with connectors, a cig lighter & 240v charger cable and a tyre pump -

The unit itself is fairly small and has a torch on one end and a decent red light down the side - both can be constant of flashing

The connectors & cables are so small compared to my jump leads that it was almost comedy - I would have been convinced they would not pass enough current to be useful

As with Phils post earlier, I remain convinced that they wouldn't start a properly dead SDV8 - but have to say that for most applications where there is still some residual juice left in the battery, they should be good.

The unit was still showing ¾ charged after starting the Mini Thumbs Up

I bought a Floureon a few weeks ago. It started my car first time (New Bosch S5 now fitted!).
It is extremely useful when it comes to starting my mower, so much so that I'm now of the opinion that buying a new mower battery would be far less fun Wink
