2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Alaska White

Not that chilly, only down to -10°C during night and up to +10°C during day, a bit less fluctuations when there is overcast.

Already the next day we went out to a nearby lake for a barbeque with some friends.

In the evening me and SWMBO drove the 65 kms to the nearest village for some shopping and dinner at a restaurant.

When I got back home me and brother worked on the snowmobiles for a while in the garage. When you surround yourself with machines, there are always something to do maintenance on.

But it's definitely rewarding when you drive off and all works as it should. Here two of my daughters on the first snowmobile, on the next SWMBO and my son and I ride myself on the one furthest away . We will drive all the way up onto the mountains in the background. This is when we just got home after been on that mountain above! It was extremely windy and I didn't take any photos.

Did some more fixing with our veteran snowmobile, so it's also fit for action now.

The black spots up to the left is all people and snowmobiles, believe it or not, but it's around 80 persons and 30+ snowmobiles!

Our view from the lunch barbeque we made. The peaks in the far end, at the horizon is on the Norwegian side of the border, some 200 kms away.

On descent, please note the ice covered lake down in the forest. And you see ten snowmobiles going downwards. Some pulling sledges.

Still looks extremely chilly to me, but have to say it looks fantastic in the snow!.

My outside temp gauge on the dash read 31C yesterday, Beautiful!

Temperature has been on the right side of zero for the last few weeks here in Sweden.

Lost almost all voltage on UAF (one of my D2's) and EDF had to come to the rescue.

Back home, put the D2 on charge.

With all this happening and my normal driving, I've driven about 1000 kilometers already the first week of 2017, and I've spent more than a day to get this recovered

Hope it's not a trend for the new year.

The next morning it looked like this. I replaced the failing alternator on the D2 and now it runs again
