Hi think the plastic bracket has broken can this be replaced without too much trouble thanks |

Thanks will look at the week end to see if it is the bracket or the little block my steering wheel has no play at all if I try to move it by hand |

Hi can anyone give me some advice please I've took off the steering cover and yes part of the bracket fell out

You can replace the bracket fairly easily, have you found the small narrow drive shaft?- if its it not there its usually fallen down the back of the footwell either in the lower dash tray or mine was sitting on top of the trim behind the pedals. It will be there somewhere!

I'd suppose that it would make sense for those of us that did not yet have any issues with the mechanism to go to the bother of removing the bottom steering cover and greasing anything that moves. |

Well that didn't take long. I decided to go do it instead of talking about it. All greased up now, 15 minutes work. |

Ordered new bracket and cheapest I could get was main dealer at 32 pounds even cheaper than parts dealers |
