Thanks, it is making sense now. There are a pair of single pin connectors on each side on the A-pillar which are live when the heater is turned on, so these must be the feeds to the screen. The connection location must have changed as well as the connector type, it looks like an early screen has been fitted. To be fair to him the fitter is being very good, he has been back on to his suppliers and they are sorting out a new screen for early next week.

I had my windscreen replaced this weekend - 1st attempt they brought the wrong screen - it was for the right model and year but had a different clip for the rain sensor - there are loads of different ones, but not as bad as the Volvo ones though. |

Its not just the actual physical connections but there are different acoustic values too what I did was get the original code from Landrover and this is what I got so plenty of room for variants

No... Mine has acoustic glass and it makes it a lot quieter than a like for like model without |

I think you cannot upgrade to acoustic glass if your original car did not have it originally installed. Tom

According to the Autoglass man all Range Rover screens from Pilkington have acoustic glass on account of the fact that most are diesels which obviously make more engine noise but that may be
