I tried to park in the NCP in Wolverhampton today and the sign stated 6ft. As I drove in, I watched the sign through the sunroof and it just touched the roof Luckily, the sign was hangin by chains, so it swung about. Soon reversed out and found an open air car park around the corner! |

I have been avoiding multi-storey car parks since I bought the RR.

Just thought I'd add to this thread, my recent Eurotunnel experience. Last trip a tad costly as the max vehicle height bar set at 1850mm 'removed' the GPS fin....... Having been told by Eurotunnel reservations that the FFRR would be within the 1850mm limit ( Offical RR Figures 1820mm ).. Offered £20 compensation in return... THANKS ! |

Was your car locked down in access height or mormal height?

It was switching between modes, hence the 'incident'. I have used the tunnel before and when access height is selected you have about 2mm to spare. To be on the safe side when booking tickets now I select car + roofbox/bike option or van which is the same price and you to travel with the coaches on the single storey carriages which is far more pleasant IMO |

If anyone fancies taking their FFRR into the car parks in the Westfield Centre in Derby to "double check" (with their roof) the height for me, I'd be grateful
