I agree - when I had to tow a distance I fitted mirrors, even though I didn't find them particularly useful |

Depends what you toe, personaly not into tin tents but do toe a boat and other trailers, don't find I need any additional mirrors.

Agree - it depends on the trailer - it's about visibility, not just because you're towing

That's cos there is no way on this earth a Jeep TJ is wider than a Range Rover, so you can see past it.... trust me when the trailer is a SOLID 8 foot wide you see

Used Grand Aeros on my TDV8 for 3 years now and over 8000 miles with the tintent, great mirror and I'd highly recommend it Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

I trust you - I saw your pics & would not enjoy towing one of those I think we got Trantorman his answer, then got slightly off topic about whether extended mirrors were a legal requirement for towing.... You can see on my boat picture that I had fitted Milenco Grand Aeros for that - I would always err on the side of caution |

I use Grand Aeros and having just changed vans from a 7ft 6 wide to 8ft they are now essential especially if you want to pull out to pass on dual carriageways.
