Kinda resembles a sport or l405

Watching a film on sky movies and saw this vehicle in one of the shots , only the rear end tho but it looks as if it resmbles a sport or l405 ....

Any takers as to what it is , even looks as if it has touches of a merc ml

Ford Explorer. Thumbs Up

I hired one in Abu Dhabi last year. Think it was a 4.0 V6, or something like that.

Anyway, I really liked it. Well built, nice cabin and the usual Ford ergonomics and driving enjoyment. Surprisingly large, too.

Think it was the best thing ford got out of selling jlr other than some pennies as they basically just ripped off the 405 and made it much much cheaper with cheaper engines as well! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Shocked ^^ you could fit the new disco in the boot, sorry trunk Laughing

It's funny when you see the later ford's on the american shows, at a glance they don't half look like Land Rover products, normally have to do a double take, they are like a big Freelander Shocked

And they may well be cheaper than the L/R products, but have you seen how much power they squeeze out of those V6 engines..... 365 bhp Shocked Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I'm rather surprised Ford don't sell it in the UK.

They're popular in the UAE, and rightly so. Si. <This is my name.

They probably haven't worked out how to put the steering wheel on the correct side of the car Laughing
It's probably linked more to the way the MK1 Explorer was received over here.... they weren't exactly Ford's biggest success Wink Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
