Thanks - perhaps my wheel damage is worse than that, but interesting all the same.

And understood that this repairer is based in Germany, but surely someone here in the UK could manage a similar job! 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

he told me if it is too deep that they are not allowed to repair the wheel by law regulations for security etc....

Also if the the inner dark paintwork is touched that THEN they have to repaint the wheel. Neutral All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

Looking at mine, I don't think the inner paintwork is scratched - see pic in original post. You've given me hope, I'm going to do a bit more research..... Whistle 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

I used to run a car audio alarm etc business.

We used to do all the work for Porsche Reading back in the day...before everything came standard from factory, and the ass fell out of the biz.

Anyway, part of that, and family friends who have had car hire and sales business , coupled with close friend who is head of Logistics and handover at MB brooklands.... I would like to think who is the best at this.

You really only have 2 options...

1) Lepson, the absoloute dons of the industry. All if not many main dealers use them, gotta send your rims away though..its a week turnaround at best
2) London local chap near me in Hampstead. FA wheels, google him - First Aid Wheels in West End Lane.
Great service, loves his work , and has cutting edge (no pun lol) machinery. Does loan wheels too so you can carry on driving and not have to leave your motor on bricks!

PM me if you want any help

Thanks for the reply! After the initial pain of the scrape, I've relaxed a little. Part of this is because the car keeps getting so dirty right now, that it's actually hard to spot the damage (although of course I do, every time I drive it!)

I've also had a little scrape on the rear bumper which must have happened in a car park without my realising. Weirdly I feel more relaxed when someone else has done it! Mad

Anyway, I've got a man for the bumper lined up. Just need to get myself organised so that I can send the wheel away / delivery it to someone like your Hampstead man.

Thanks again. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
