he told me if it is too deep that they are not allowed to repair the wheel by law regulations for security etc....

Looking at mine, I don't think the inner paintwork is scratched - see pic in original post. You've given me hope, I'm going to do a bit more research..... |

I had the same dents not more or less... sorry for the bad quality of my pic. And he fixed them in *2 secs* |

Thanks for the reply! After the initial pain of the scrape, I've relaxed a little. Part of this is because the car keeps getting so dirty right now, that it's actually hard to spot the damage (although of course I do, every time I drive it!)
