Cornering lights

Bit of a daft question - how do you know if your car has cornering lights?

Mine has like a separate bit on the bottom outer of the headlight units but I've never seen any extra light when cornering....

Was it an option on the 2011 cars? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

You can see them clearly when you go round a corner - it's like switching the fog light on/off - there's nothing smooth or subtle about it.

If you have access to a Faultmate / IID tool you can check if they are disabled or not and then turn them on. It is very obvious when they do come on at night. I noticed them clearly on mine. I also noticed that the bulb is not visible from the outside (not that I tried looking at it from all angles but I did look at them). Maybe both your bulbs have gone.

Maybe ask your dealer or Duckworth Dan a favour and get them to print the build sheet. On my buildsheet they are not mentioned separately but the adaptive headlights are and I'm expecting all adaptive headlights to have the cornering lights. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I have them on my 2010 - very obvious at night to be honest - just turn your steering wheel to one side and that side light will come on...

Not sure if they are a function that can be enabled/disabled though Ash

Yes they can be enabled/disabled via CCF but! The correct lights need to be fitted to be enabled... Thumbs Up

Thanks gents.

I already have my build sheet. Will have a search.

From the pics, looks like they work when stationary - just turn the wheel in D.

Will test that, but pretty sure I don't on that basis..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
