"In the gap of the gods " all seams well after being saved by patrick @ gap he seams to think my obd port had a problem causing the corruption of my ccf which also prevented iid getting the ccf file to send to them they have a piece on there website on checking your obd port and how to sort it out as most of you seasoned rr peeps already know ! I do not know of any company in the world who would provide such patience and give up so much of there time and at the start of the weekend from night to daytime i can only imagine that if you are that clever in the first place to understand and develop or make this tool that this was a great challenge for them to sort out rarther than someone messaging them asking how to turn on sat nav on the go day in day out .ive now sent a copy of my ccf file for them to verify. my iid tool is now updated to latest firmware and sat on the side going nowhere near my car untill i hear back from gap .
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
P.S they sent me a new ccf file i uploaded it to car did hard reset then waited around 30 mins for car to go to sleep properly and then she fired up was the finale ! After two days of trying most things in there magic book

He still wouldn't have minded, I'm sure. Thumbs Up

You've presumably found the applicable options in the CCF now - namely, "Speed-related Locking Key 1" (ditto keys 2, 3 and 4) and "Speed-Related Locking Repeat" (if you want it to re-lock any doors that get opened again). The functions are reversed, so you have to disable them to enable them (don't ask me why!). Wink

Once you've selected them, you need to write the new CCF. It doesn't take long, so back-up power is not essential (but good if you have it - as mentioned before, not a normal charger), but ensure the battery is healthy and fully charged before attempting it. I assume you've now resolved any OBD port issue also - don't want a repeat performance! Thumbs Up

Leave the ignition on, don't interrupt the process at all and follow the IID's instructions. The car will shut down, doors lock and unlock and hazards will flash - all normal. When it wakes up the IID will ask you to cycle the ignition and will clear the faults - this will clear any messages and lights on the screen. Wink

Hope this clarifies. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
