Do you think this is worth a look or forget. It's a 6hr round trip so want to get some advice first. Seems to have a good MOT history although running gear may be shot. Anyone ran one of these at this sort of mileage? How long to turbos/egrs last?

P.S If you have any suggestions my budget is £9k. Petrol, petrol/lpg or V8 diesel.

Personally, i'd avoid it like the plague, but saw this on the bay of fleas. Might be worth a look, especially as its had some good money thrown at it on worthwhile repairs. Convert to LPG and there's potentially a good motor to be had.

I saw the same age VSE with 87k miles for £12k ono on a FB page the other day. On second owner, was immaculate and meticulously maintained.

Personally, I would wait for the right one- age, mileage, condition, history etc. JMO.

Nice SC, didn't see that, probably because the price was just outside my search criteria but will keep it on the back burner. May look a little wider on the price front but already increased it from 8k. Need to keep a little (read a lot) in reserve for the repairs
