Well I finally managed to fit a new tailgate seal at the weekend, through a shortish lull in the rain, so now the rear wheel well of the FF has fully dried out.
Got some electrical contact cleaner and a toothbrush and cleaned the connectors for the trailer module, compressor and any other connectors I could see. At least the hold light has now gone out on the height Set button, but still no movement from the front (although the rear of the FF has raised itself back up to 'normal' and is holding firm).
Tried testing the front air strut valves with the IID Tool, the front left rose off the bump stop and went to a reasonable height without problem, but when I tried to raise the front right (which is also on the bump stop), I could hear a loud whooshing of air and the right side didn't move at all. After a couple of hours, I went back out to the FF, to find the front left side had sunk back to the bump stop.
This has got me wondering if I may have a leaking/split/come adrift air pipe on the driver's side or maybe the cross link valve has stopped working. Anyone any ideas / thoughts on this?
Couldn't investigate any more, as the rain was starting to get horizontal and my hands were totally numb. So this weekend, weather permitting, I'm going to jack and prop up the front end and investigate around the driver's side.

Well, after a couple of weeks of rain / snow and other bad weather I've finally got the FF jacked up and checked the front air struts. Found a hole in the driver's side air spring bag, so I've ordered two new delphi air springs. Gonna try and get them fitted next weekend, so hopefully that will go a long way to sorting the problem.
Strangely though, the Hold Light on the Air Susp Selector knob has come back on. Hopefully it will reset once I've done the front air springs.

What'd I Say Cool

Glad you found the problem although feel the pain of having to chuff up to replace both sides! Someone will buy the other one on eBay though. .

Had my new Delphi Air Springs delivered Tuesday evening, so I'm going to try and get them fitted on Saturday...weather permitting.

If the weather doesn't allow me to give the job a go, then I'll bite the bullet and get it all shipped off to my local Indy for him to do the work, although I know it's a job I should be able to do. I've gone through the Wiki 'How To...' and am watching the vids on how to do it, but need the chance and time to tackle it.

Here's hoping for the weather to be on my side... Whistle

Finally had to bite the bullet...weather's been Censored Censored ite today and the forecast is for snow tomorrow. So, took the FF to my local indy to get the air springs fitted. Totally gutted, the ride to town was weird, to say the least. Back end up in the air, the front end was ddown on the stops and any bump in the road bounced the front end like it was on a rollercoaster.
Have left the FF with them till next Friday, as they're rushed off their feet, but at least I know they'll do a spot on job.

Got the FF back yesterday, new air springs fitted so at least the front and rear of the FF is level, but the indy garage couldn't get the air suspension to raise or lower, still had the hold light lit up. They did a full diagnostics check using T4 Testbook, but nothing showed up. Not to worry I said to the mechanic, I've got a good idea what's up, it'll be the trailer module. Sure enough we disconnected the module and the light went out. Normal air suspension functions restored. WOOHOO!! Thumbs Up

So need to get a replacement trailer module and then hopefully i'll then have an FFFFRR (Fully Functioning Full Fat Range Rover)!
