States in handbook that condensation may appear at times, my previous one did it occasionally, my new one had done it once... |

Set the headlights to manual and leave them on your next couple of trips. The bulb heats the air inside the case and the condensation goes. It normally appears after vigorous jet washing or if the vehicle has been standing for a while.

Have had it on other cars but not on this one yet. Wouldn't be worried though |

Not heard of it on Rangies. On Astons it is very difficult to shift and can cause the lamp interior to discolour. Keep an eye on it. Not noticed it on my L405. |

Sounds to me like the seal has gone and water is sitting in the bottom where you can't see it, turn the light on and the heat will evaporate the water and fog up the light... Check that the plastic waterproof cover you remove to change the bulb has been fitted properly as that could be the cause as well... Pete

Hay lands is right. The seal. You turn on the light and it gets hot, so the air in the housing gets hit, pressure increases and the air escapes through the seal. When the lighters turned off, everything cools, down, pressure now drops, and the moisture is sucked right into the housing making it worse each time. Hopefully a new seal doesn't mean a whole new light assembly. Good luck. |
