Sounds like inhibitor switch or ignition switch.

are the connections nice and tight on the battery. ... - .- -.

yes stan they are and to make sure the battery was ok we had it on charge at the same time as it was showning 12 volts only |

well for some unknown reason the car decided to start today, but another problem as occurred now no susspension front drivers side cannot hear pump working. |

bad earthing will do that. Either the battery to body connection, or one of the other earthing connections - engine to body for example.
