Had mine done this morning at Harwoods in Croydon/Coulsdon. Left in at 8.00 and it was all done by 10.00 including a wash and vacuum and a free health check (all OK)

LR Belgium have just invited me.

Mine went in to Guy Salmon (Knutsford) this morning. At first I was offered an Insignia as a loaner for the day. I looked a tad disappoineted so they found me a SWB defender. What a piece of kit that was! I'd never driven anything like it. It bounced along the road with the steering being a bit reluctant to self centre. What a hoot! Downside is that they managed to knacker one of the calipers on mine and I can't get it back til Monday. Since I am returning to work on Sunday that is a non starter so won't get it back til I return on the 29th!

had mine done a few weeks back and they left the hoses loose where they attach to the calipers, drove home brake fluid everywhere.

yeah mine too, must say excellent service when the brake recall done last Tuesday, done with no fuss.... did make the service manager laugh though... the weekend before i had detailed/clayed/maguiars/polished and finsished the FF inside and out.... i left an massive A3 note in the RR in big massive bold letters.. "THIS CUSTOMER INSISTS THIS CAR IS NOT VALETED OR WASHED... EVEN IF ITS FREE... DO NOT TOUCH".... i left that note having read some horror stories where FF members have had "free swirl marks" installed as part of the main dealers aiming to please. Anyway to be fair service at Stratstone Hanley was very good.. and best cuppa coffee ive had for years. remaining silent when one should be protesting makes cowards of brave men.

Had mine done last week while getting the winter tyres fitted by the local dealer.
All smooth and well.
A day later, the invitation from LR Germany was in the letternbox.
Thumps up to my garage being upfront wi h customer care.

had our 2006 tdv8 done last week, westover christchurch, didnt notice any difference, just bought a 2011 tdv8 as well, not sure its been done, i guess they can check if i give them the vin....pain in the wotsit i dont really want to go back again !

question...can this be done with the wheels on?

Reason I ask is b/c my dealer apparently did this recall while it was in for inspection....but I have LR locking lugnuts on my wheels (forgot to tell them where I hide the lugnut key). So unless they have a LR wheel lock master key for taking off the lugnuts I don't think they could have gotten them off.

Mine were finally done last week .
I think it was March that I got the letter

They left the top off the brake reservoir !!

Had ours done this morning by Stratstone Land Rover Cardiff, dropped it off at 8am and had the car back at 13:00pm.

They said the old pipes was ok but replaced them anyway, gave the car a going over (health check) and picked up on the rear discs need changing and also cleaned the car inside and out all for free.

Cracking service.

Now gota get the discs changed now. Range Rover quotes.....

If you have the service book for the car there is a section 'Vehicle recalls' in which the dealer doing the recall should record doing so: the brake hose recall is called PO54 Hose Durability. Only Range Rovers since 1988
