Isn't the DVD player for the nav disc? Will it play DVD movies? If so then it may play mp3 tracks burned to dvd (a Kenwood I had in my D2 did), but I doubt it will play mp3 CD's. Could be wrong though. Who's brave enough to try it?

I'm referring to the DVD changer that is part of the rear seat entertainment system. I've written MP3 songs as data to dvd and tried playing it in the DVD changer but it didn't play.

I wrote it at 12x speed, not sure if that was too fast and put the songs into folders (1-deep). The DVD does play in my home theater system.

Any advise to get this working is appreciated

the FF dvd player will only play movie/mp4? files..

Ah with it now. Yours is posher than mine, the only DVD player in mine is for the Sat Nav. Don't really see why it wouldn't play, but if your home system will play it then there's not a lot wrong with the disc. Sorry I can't help more than that.
