Looks interesting. Also that the CD player can be retained if wanted. As I understand it it is inserted in the MOST circuit at any point so if all one wanted to do was use a USB stick it could be inserted in the boot so avoiding all the stripping out to get to the CD? Personally all I want is to be able to play music from USB and a large one (they quote up to 64Gb) would fill the bill and avoid any inconvenience of having to frequently change the USB. All the other requirements - phone etc - are adequately cover by the standard system for me. John 2008 Stornoway Grey 3.6 Tdv8 Vogue 2005 TD6 Java Black Vogue - Written off!! Looks interesting, but my Charman is not up to deciphering the fitting instructions. |

Steve, The optical circuits pass through each element in the line so unplug one side of one.

That's how I read it too. I would take out the 6cd changer and replace with this, you could also plug in a Bluetooth USB dongle to get Spotify etc from your phone.. |

If you remove the CD player then one MOST connector for the new unit would be sufficient. The MOST connectors on the RR optical circuit have two fibre optic cables going into them. One carries the signal into the unit it is connected to and the other carries it away into the system (for want of a better description). IIRC the direction of travel is marked on the connector.
