So, with the amount of MP3 CDs I have I was searching for a way of replacing the CD changer with something of higher capacity that isn't an IPOD. I found this thingy on tinterweb and wondered if it was compatible with the FFRR

I fixed this by changing my RR to a 2010 model gives you all you want including steering wheel control however "sledgehammer to crack a nut" springs to mind Geoff |

Yeah, I have the 2011 with IPOD, USB etc but "Little Dom" keeps nicking the IPOD. |

Yeah, it's just whether or not that particular thingy I found talks the right language for the head unit. Hopefully one of those nice clever GAP chappies will be along to confirm. |

Its a good use for spare iPods, one in my car and one in SWMBOs car. Obviously I also have a USB stick in there as well and actually a few CDs but as I listen to Radio 2 all the time - its all wasted. Geoff |

Not sure about that Craig. I think it's an interface (or address space) on the MOST which is not proprietary to JLR. If I'm right, they cannot possibly own copyright on an open standards system like CAN or LIN. That would be like trying to license the OBD port. I think the lack of solutions is probably driven by the lack of demand.

And that would explain why at least two units emulating the ACM have disappeared from the market 2008 MY Supercharged Rimini Red / Jet four zone climate remote park heater and no ugly kid windows. magnus satis quod turpis satis |
