Pete, brilliant write up and good pictures. Envy your dedication and have loads of excuses why i can't add to my RR lump, mainly due to lazy. Full of admiration tho so keep up the excellent work. Thankyou for the read mate. |

Love doing DIY myself, tool mad, I have a fair collection now ( must have a lot as I have accidentally bought a 2nd nail gun when I already had one, but luckily, they both have their merits). Although I spend all my time fixing up other peoples houses and never actually get around to doing my own! Steve

It was four of these wired together... I'd get the cobb ones now as they are brighter... you need to cut open the light to fit them, I used a hot glue gun to seal it back up afterwards...

These ones Stan, screwed to the rear spoiler, they are Ring DRL's... Think they would look silly on a standard one but seeing as I've got the rear wheel carrier the back looks funny anyway.....

Before you seal it all up, plug it in and test it with the engine running........ had some get too hot on a later ffrr, they didn't like the 14.75 volts that the alternator was kicking out Better to know before you seal it all up and have to split it all apart again Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
