I'm eyeing a 2007 to 2009 Range Rover Supercharged as my next vehicle (I'm in the US). I have an Android 7" universal head unit that I removed from my old car before selling it. I understand the aforementioned model years have a M.O.S.T. system which I'm not familiar with. Can I install this head unit in these models? If so, is there a dashkit and harness for it? If not, what are my options for installing an Android head unit in the 2007 to 2009 models?

IIRC there is nothing available. You cant even add DAB but i think in the states there was something that would add Sirius so maybe worth checking out as it could be a route to add an auxiliary input as i think the NAS spec SC was slightly diff from the UK spec where you got RSE and rear inputs as standard. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Is there any reason why you couldn't move the Nav screen in to the glovebox? that way everything would stay working but you could fit the Android head in the dash.

You'd have to connect the speaker wires and there wouldn't be any steering wheel input, so you'd have to reach an extra few inches  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I wouldn't, I have a 2010 SC as well and am very happy with the infotainment on it. Even the Sat Nav is working well  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

It all works on a fibre optic network, so doesn't have the usual speaker wires etc behind the dash, these are in the boot where the amp, sat nav module and blue tooth are located. While I'm sure anything is possible given the correct amount of cash being thrown at it, it won't be simple or cheap.

The sound system on the sc should be pretty good as standard and you can have direct iPod control as there is a specific port for one in the cents cubby hole. Needs a special lead but these are cheap and can be had of eBay if there isn't one already in the car. Search jaguar Land Rover iPod cable There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

^^ The speaker wires in the boot isn't just a MOST system thing, my 2003 Vogue has the speaker wires in the boot, along with the radio tuner, the DSP amp, TV tuner, and NAV head

The only thing that you will have trouble with is getting the steering wheel controls to work, as far as I'm aware there is on adapter to integrate an aftermarket head with the fiber optic system  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Well, I have an Android phone and use mainly streaming music services like Spotify, Pandora so the iPhone/iPod and USB ports won't help me. I'll just go with my plan B - bluetooth receiver connected to AUX in (I know, it'll be unsightly). Maybe use a low profile, right angle, flat 3.5mm cable so the jack's door can close and a bluetooth media button on the steering wheel (or by the vents) so the phone can be stowed.

Is there a way to increase the volume on the AUX in jack (it's kind of low)?

I use a Griffin Bluetrip with a low profile short 3.5 into my Aux , it's pretty neat but you can't quite shut the door I'm afraid .Works well though and I control it through my watch and the phone in my pocket so PoPo don't get busy with me . 2008 MY Supercharged

I'm afraid not , bluetooth didn't really exist when the L322's electronics were developed .

These are some of the last ACM's left in the world just about , and you would still have to add a Tune 2 Air to give Bluetooth connection . I'll leave it to you to work out if it is worth the money . 2008 MY Supercharged

Oh, I see. So how does the phone feature work in my car? There's pick up, hang up and and speak command buttons on the steering wheel and the head unit lists phone in the mobile screen. If it's not Bluetooth, then what is it for?

^^ It is Bluetooth, BUT, it is not Bluetooth stereo, it is just Bluetooth phone. Yes it mutes the stereo and uses the speakers in the door for the call, but it is not stereo. The Bluetooth module is a separate unit, and as such is not part of the stereo merely connected to it. So there is no way to stream a stereo signal through the system

I know that it's annoying, especially for a so called "advanced" car, but the simple truth of it is the stereo is from the dark ages and should be treated as such. It's about the only thing that Land Rover, got horribly wrong, and to add insult to injury the later the car the less easy it is to update it. My car is a 2003 and I have Bluetooth music streaming in it, but I had to add this as an extra and do away with the CD changer. I'm not sure if anyone makes a Bluetooth aux input for the MOST system, but that is what you'd have to add if you want to stream wireless music or one of those adapters plugged into the aux socket that some of you have  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... You can get bluetooth aux adapters which look like they plug into the aux input, but have a bluetooth receiver to accept the audio from any other bluetooth device. A quick google finds them from £5 upwards. V8 or else ...
