Ok not that sort of flashed - I am getting fed up at the moment with other drivers flashing their lights at me at night because they think I have full beam on (which I don't). Usual response is a choice word under my breath and a flash of my lights to show them what full beam is really like

Does anyone else get this happening to them a lot os is it just me....

I used to get that until I had my headlights adjusted - they were pointing too high

Me too.

Adjusted them myself, and it stopped straight away, not really noticed the difference in lost light on dipped, and I live down a very dark country lane!

you can adjust downwards a bit..

I used the continental adapter flappy thing to flatten off the headlights not a problem since I did it.

are you adjusting the correct screw?

I adjusted with my lights on against a fence so I could see the moving light, the Allen screw dropped the beam but only so far, then the adjuster screw just clicked and began the same cycle against

Looking at your great diagram I think I altered B which if horizontal would make me think I had the correct one as would drop the beam a little so think your right, I will check.

have you adaptive headlights, if so that one might be faulty....other than that you might have to have it dealer aligned.. ... - .- -.

Mine ARE correctly adjusted, but it doesn't stop people continually flashing so I just flash the main beams back at them, blister their eyeballs and convince them I WAS on dipped beam

Trouble is, the headlights on a FF are so bloody good  2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

They are simply too high.
You think they are OK as they are in spec and you know they are on dipped. They are probably border line in spec and an oncoming sports car or low sitting driver has the discomfort of your selfishness and curses all 4x4 drivers.

If you adjust them very slightly downwards you will not suffer very much in lost vision but you will stop oncoming flashers!
