Despite telling my insurance broker at renewal in September that I was changing the FF for a brand new one in November, they did not bother to mention that the tracker had to be a cat 5 and they think the new one has a cat 6, no where can I find any of this in brochures or websites. Tracker or Immobiliser ?

I thought the standard fit was an immobiliser - if you need a tracker that would be an additional installation, as well as probably an ongoing monthly fee.

New ones now come with 3 years in control. letters not necessarily in the right order

change your insurance! Land Rover Ins were best when I phoned round!!!

Trouble is I have a 9 vehicle multi policy including agreed value on some classics and 23 year old son and 25 year old daughter covered comp on all cars. But yes may change the Rangie to be a stand alone. letters not necessarily in the right order

I had the same issue - not even realising that you can track the car on the Land Rover Remote App. Ended up breaking away from my multi car policy which was a pain - but got a good deal from Direct Line. Current:
