Did you replace a the monitor in the wheel arch or the one in the wheel itself ?

i did the same as Alistair...i had random warnings for no reason so i switched it off.. ... - .- -.

It was neither, I replaced the TPMS ECU in the boot area. The Jaguar dealer I worked at did try to disable the system but the technician was not able to with the T4 system. |

If you don't need to do much else - it may be worth trying to find someone close to you that has one as you can add additional vehicle unlock codes for £60 |

Ours doesn't seem to have TPMS (it appears to have standard rubber valves). I thought they all had it unless owners take their own steps and nobody's touched ours. |

TPMS was always an option right up until legislation made it compulsory in 2014. That said a lot of 2010 onwards models seem to have it but the later cars seem more reliable. I was never sure quite why the BMW system never made it to LR vehicles though. That works off the ABS sensors and detects if a wheel is turning faster than the others which would indicate low tyre pressure. Much more reliable from what I've seen. |
