Anyone found a rearview mirror mount for a dashcam to fit the 2010MY?

Thanks, Craig. I was hoping that someone would have already solved this problem, but I might well end up going down that route.

I do wish I could agree - tried it but it only lasted 3-4 days, hence trying to move on to a mirror bracket.

I tried all sorts of stuff including car mirror pads & superglue - the No More Nails tape is the only thing that worked for me |

Have a look at LOCA adheasive, get it on ebay cheap plus you need a UV torch...

Another +1 for me on the 3M sticky pads/tape - I use it for the Go-Pro mounts on the bike and motorbike helmets as well.

You can just use a UV flashlight to cure LOCA glue, they are very cheap on amazon. Here is more info on http://vkrepair.com/loca-glue/ |

I think you're either using the wrong type of sticky pads or you're not cleaning the glass well enough before applying it, ie with alcohol or thinners - any oil, tar, silicone or wax on there and it just wont last. A lot of rear view mirrors are just stuck on with double sided tape and last the life of the car. It really needs to be automotive sticky pads, as a lot of the home DIY type ones can;t cope with the temperature range. |
