sounds like the fuel guard has been activated...there should be a plastic yellow thing in the boot that can reset it...should be info in the owners manual re this.. ... - .- -.

I get this! Really annoying! Happens at my local co op! I've checked to see if my guard had been deployed, no luck!

Turn the nozzle upside down, should then fill better.

+1 for turning nozzle upside down, really struggled when I first got mine but fills a treat now |

L322 seems worse than most other LR's. It won't accept the commercial pumps nozzle as well, filler neck is just too narrow. A pain really, a proper car should be able to accept fuel properly. Wonder if we could replace the filler neck and pipe with a proper sized one, and without the fuel guard. Is all markets/years the same? Supporter and maintainer of EDF - Mrs Edfors' shopping cart. |

Car's don't accept commercial pump nozzles, they make the commercial pump nozzles incompatible on purpose so you don't put it in lock the trigger on and walk away and have it spewing diesel all over the forecourt. They're designed to be sold to numpties.

it sounds more like a problem with a specific garage than your car. |

Can also happen if the nozzle has been slightly deformed through use causing turbulence which triggers the shutoff. John

You just got the model intended for downunder, hence the nozzle upside down works MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Mines the same doesn't matter what angle you put the nozzle you can only pull the trigger half way or it will click off, never a quick stop for fuel for me unfortunately. 2009(10MY) 3.6 TDV8 Vogue
