does the 4.2sc have a fuel filter?

I am trying to get to the bottom of a few faults on my 06 sc and am giving it a thorough service even though it was only done 2500miles ago at a main stealer Rolling Eyes

Cannot find any mention of a petrol filter and wondered if there was anything fitted other than the strainer on the bottom of the sender unit
Cheers

I seem to recall seeing a filter positioned forward of the nearside rear wheel

Doesn't appear to be one for the s/c though... from the manual... It appears there are two in the fuel pump in the tank...!!

Can't find any other mention in the manual, but I could be wrong, you know what JLR are like.... Rolling Eyes

In mine (06 sc) there is one located in the top of the fuel tank, its part of the fuel pump assembly but available seperately. It's the white plastic thing you see the top of if you look under the offside fuel tank access panel under the rear passenger seat.

Yep , strainers in the tank and a filter on the pump at the tank . No conventional in line filter at the engine end . They like a drink too much and maybe it would get in the way Very Happy 2008 MY Supercharged

Hi all sorry to dredge this up but at 100k I want to change this. I can’t find anyone that sells the fuel filters though- any ideas and if so does anyone have a part number?
