I think I would be to worried about denting the boot by accidental opening or mis judging clearances height or depth.

This is a demonstration of the use of a powered tailgate on the Evoque. In true LR fashion it seems an incredibly complicated way to open it.

Makes you wonder if the head designer has a very dry sense of humour and is gradually introducing more complications to brighten his day. Yes lets see if I can get this crazy idea I have all the way through to production before anyone notices.

The L405 has a powered tailgate that seems to work pretty well - buttons on the dash, key fob & tailgate to operate |
