At the age of the vehicle it won't make any difference as long as you buy genuine parts and keep all receipts alongside the service book and anyone seeing this should not be concerned |

I would think twice and would want the value to reflect self servicing as anyone can buy good parts but a lot of people don't actually know what they are doing. I have previously bought a car maintained by an 'enthusiast' and only once I got to know the car did I start to find his bodges, like using hosehold 240v cable and bolts far too long for the brake calipers padded out with about 5 washers!
