I've been using my multiroom sky card in our static and I've mislaid it. Do sky charge for a replacement? |

It was a few years ago, but I needed a new card, can't remember why. I phoned them up and told them one of the kids had taken it out of the sky box and buried it in the garden. I remember the woman laughing. She sent me a new card free of charge... So maybe it's at their discretion? Previously..

If they do charge, tell em you're leaving*....according to watchdog, they'll throw the world at you to stay

^very true, they will. they gave me free sky sports, a new 2 TB box and reduced my total monthly bill by £10.... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yep, I threatened to last month and they knocked loads off, can't remember exactly how much but it was a reasonable amount.... Pete

I've only just gone back to them though. I turned the whole lot off earlier in the year as it was getting silly. They called me recently and offered me the same package for half price for 12 months which was better. |

Normally the i will leave tactic works really well and we have used it many times with all sorts of sevices usually with a good upgrade/ reduced pcm price. After reading the thread i had to put my 2 pence worth in re sky. My wife and i had been with them continually for 13 years and long story short our world sevice package has risen to almost £100 pcm so i phoned and done the usual but to no avail. I was told that as an existing customer i was worthless to the company and only new customers are given priority.

Called Sky and got a free replacement. I was honest with them and said I'd removed it to clear a fault and put it down somewhere, only to lose it. |
