Started in February with water loss. Finally found the EGR Cooler to be at fault. Then in August on the way to France she decided to jump into neutral - I had to leave her at Portsmouth while the replacement Disco towed the tin tent to our final destination in mid France. On return couriered back to the north west and a local garage.. Nothing wrong for two weeks, running sweet for them. Then on a rush hour test drive "Neutral and nothing else" On inspection of the GB there was so much metal attached to the magnet it looked like someone had taken a file to it.
She is now back after a major operation of a replacement gearbox, manifold overall and wiring repairs.
She's been very high maintenance in 2015...

Please let 2016 be a bit cheaper. I like the saying just add fuel..  Current Cars

WOW 71,000 miles on the gearbox, I know they are made of cream cheese but you think they would last longer than that....

Pete when my gearbox went fubar, it had done 105k, they said at the time the average was 80k and they had seen some with only 50k

Trev18, regular oil and filter changes around 40k, or less if you tow a lot and it's heavy  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
