Service items for 2007 TDv8 3.6

Hi all. Had my FFRR for a month or so now and looking for some advice on keeping it in tip top condition. I have had gearbox oil and filter changed. It's had a full service and I'm getting diffs oil changed soon.

I've read about turbo hoses going so is this something I should change.

All advice greatfully received

Thank you 2015 4.4 AB

Sounds like you have the right idea.

Diff oils,
transfer box oil
Gearbox oil and filter change
Engine oil service
Brake fluid change
Remove and check the top inter cooler hoses, they are relatively cheap so a swap would be good if they have never been check the coolant hoses round the expansion tank for chaffing esp the hose which comes off the bottom.
Redecorate rear silencer
Check rear arches for rust under the door shut seals
Check upper tailgate for rust under the lip
Condition the seats

Nothing much else really on the regular maintenance list, after these it is a replace as needed component list (I'm sure someone will add though)

Alternator
Brakes
Egr valves
Suspension components incl front drop links

Hope this helps There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Check for surface rust underneath as you live in Eire it may have lived near the coast? A wax oil treatment never goes a miss Thumbs Up

Thanks Craig. I've had a body guy look at her and he only found a small blister on rear passenger arch. The work should be done in the next few weeks 2015 4.4 AB
