Front bumper grrr

Some Censored kind person in an Asda (that'll teach me) car park has knocked the bumper out by god-knows-how about half an inch above the NSFF arch. You can barely see in the picture, but it now sticks out and, of course, upsets me greatly!
Thing is, I can't readily see how to fix it You can push it and the plastic flexes but it's not at all obvious how bumper is retained at the top of the arch - there is a screw or bolt at the bottom of the arch, but nothing I can see at the top...

There is a bit of plastic that it bolted under the wing and the bumper, it's been broken by the looks of it, you should be able to see it if you take the headlight out...

At least that's how the earlier ones are and I suspect they wouldn't change it much.... Thumbs Up Pete

bumper is tighly cliped on a plastic bracket.
Apply pressure with your tight against the front/corner of the bumper and slap the bumper end in place. this is how they put them in place.

This is what it clips on: (and maybe the part you'll need to replace if broken but unlikely.)

As the saying goes, " It's a hard knock life " ... this kind of damage is sadly all too common, and Censored infuriating... any time I park in any large car park, you'll find me in the furthest spot from the entrance, with nothing remotely near me when I make the half mile trek to get in to the shop. Come out and find some oik parked three inches away - the muppets willget you one way or another ! Evil or Very Mad The best 4.4 x far

Thats the wrong bracket for an 06MY car VD... Whistle

The OP would need to slide that corner off and make sure the corner bracket has not been snapped Shocked Rolling Eyes If not... Re-attatch the bumper to the bracket slider Thumbs Up

Found out why a few years ago, went out with my daughter and her driving instructor and they teach them how to parallel park next to another car, so if your parked on your own with plenty of space someone will park next to you because that's how they were taught... Censored annoying... Pete

It's good to know that so substantial a piece of kit is held on by a bit of plastic... Laughing

I have discovered that in the supermarket car park 85% of the cars are driven by fairer sex Shocked , so that's why they are scary places Laughing . However, I have also discovered that 99% of the fairer sex don't like maneuvering in a backwards motion, so they always drive in to a space, not reverse. Now comes the sneeky bit, if you reverse into the space, it confuses them and when they try to park too close to you so that you can't get in, they can't get out Mr. Green So they have to go back out and shuffle over, so that they can open their door and exit the dodgem Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... I have just read your signature Shocked , Whistle think you should change it to "Je ne regrette rien !, apart from parking in Censored Asda's Car Park" Wink

A car to the fairer sex is a WMD in a car park, or anywhere else that requires reversing Shocked Be warned Laughing

Dodgem? I feel it's a fitting description, they have no mirrors and are designed to ram things.......... Much like a car, mirrors are for makeup Shocked Shocked

And to make matters worse, if you were to find the culprit, 10 to 1 that they claim they didn't see it, just how big do you have to be to be seen?

I know that towing a light grey and silver trailer of 25 foot length, 10 foot high and 7 foot 6 wide, with a silver Range Rover that has DRL's on all the time, will actually make you totally invisible especially in the rush hour Sad And blinking lights have an adverse effect, they seem to turn on coming traffic in to moths, and actually draws them towards you Thud There are times that I think something like a Humber Pig would be a better choice.......
