There is a bit of plastic that it bolted under the wing and the bumper, it's been broken by the looks of it, you should be able to see it if you take the headlight out...

As the saying goes, " It's a hard knock life " ... this kind of damage is sadly all too common, and infuriating... any time I park in any large car park, you'll find me in the furthest spot from the entrance, with nothing remotely near me when I make the half mile trek to get in to the shop. Come out and find some oik parked three inches away - the muppets willget you one way or another ! The best 4.4 x far |

Thats the wrong bracket for an 06MY car VD... The OP would need to slide that corner off and make sure the corner bracket has not been snapped If not... Re-attatch the bumper to the bracket slider |

Found out why a few years ago, went out with my daughter and her driving instructor and they teach them how to parallel park next to another car, so if your parked on your own with plenty of space someone will park next to you because that's how they were taught... annoying... Ahh yes but!!! If the £600 bumper was not held in place by a £6 deformable/breakable bracket sir Then we know what the outcome would have been! |

I have discovered that in the supermarket car park 85% of the cars are driven by fairer sex , so that's why they are scary places . However, I have also discovered that 99% of the fairer sex don't like maneuvering in a backwards motion, so they always drive in to a space, not reverse. Now comes the sneeky bit, if you reverse into the space, it confuses them and when they try to park too close to you so that you can't get in, they can't get out So they have to go back out and shuffle over, so that they can open their door and exit the dodgem Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
