Diesels always has a puff when you throttle it hard, but it should subside in one or two seconds.. If it's leaving a massive cloud constantly under heavy acceleration, I'd be searching for a split hose.. Either that, it's running rich, or you may have a problem..

why didn't your mechanic take them off ,its a 2 minute job ,

Well my smoke stays all the way to 180 kmh, at least that's what I noticed today.

It seems to be the 2 top ones that split and cause the smoke and would be the first thing to eliminate as it's quick & cheap & they will go anyway at some point, so not much to lose by doing that first |
