Old school repair then... Buy a Freelander 2 wheel arch cover panel (which you will need to trim to the correct length) and after waxing/greasing your repaired paint... Slip the rubber cover on and it should never happen again sir Whistle

I was replacing these on our Freelander 2 today so I took one of the old ones and measured it against our SC, one of the Freelander ones is a perfect length. The part no. is LR001624. You'll need two of them.

However, after that I had a look at our 2012 AB and it's got them fitted to it from the factory. They look slightly different to the Freelander ones in that they are a bit wider and cover more in the arch. I'm going to order two from Dan tomorrow for the SC.

Will post pictures up when done. Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Java Black

The comment on the later Ford L322's rusting quicker could be a genuine thing. My 2003 is 12 years old and touch wood has absolutely no signs of rust on the body, she is only just stating to show a little surface rust on the bottom suspension wishbones but other than that the body is in perfect condition. I have looked at quite a few 2010+ L322's and they are covered in rust underneath, wheel arch edges, suspention parts, tailgate window strips etc....
