I would guess that the new sensor is not quite home yet, they need to fit without any force being applied to them and sit absolutely flush with the mounting, the amount of rust I had round one of mine made it sit proud and give a similar problem..

Thanks Haylands - It's a genuine from Dan - so I'll try to refit it and see - the teeth appear to line up , but I will check.
