i had a stone caught in between the disc and cover and the only way to get it out was to reverse a few times but that doesnt explain why yours happens on full lock.... ... - .- -.

Surely it would screech on both locks if it were the pump? |

not sure how the pump works but it could be that on the right lock theres more strain on it.. ... - .- -.

Fluid is fine (first thing I checked) and belt is less than 5000 miles?

If the tracking has been reset in the past then the central position of the rack may have changed, hence full right lock maybe further than full left lock.. then it screeches... they usually last for ages in that state, just don't hold it there, back off the lock a bit... Pete
