I think that folks were noticing this a few years back, can't remember the outcome though Ryan, mine does something similar, I only noticed it on the trip to France as a slight hesitation, as though the power has been cut for a split second. Before al resuming business as usual.

Yes Mark that describes it well. I knew the older 6 speed auto (eg on the SC) ones had so called gearbox slam, maybe when in slow moving traffic and that there was a software updated for that but didn't know about this seemingly minor glitch |

+1 me to. more so at slow speed. does not happen that often, say once every 1k miles but coasting to say a traffic island in drive down to perhaps 10mph then decide it is ok to continue so press the pedal and there is definitely a second of no power before a bit of a jolt through what appears to be the drive train then all is well again. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

The bump fix software on the 6-speed still doesn't resolve it fully. A transfer box clutch calibration helps, but it comes back again shortly...

Would be handy to know what the TSB number is for the issue. According to the thread above Farnell in Leeds were referred to a TSB by Land Rover, and they recommended a specific download to fix it. So it is a know problem. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mine did it twice last month (coughed and felt like it was going to stall before regaining power) and I found the above post referring to the fuel injector software update on the forum. I passed this onto the dealer who updated the software and so far the problem has not recurred. |
