You also have to consider your resale in a few years time, no one wants the HSE now let alone in the future. Also I didnt think Bi-Xenons were standard on the HSE? But may be wrong on this, my brain is frazzled from all the xenon/bi-xenon/halogen talk recently.

Depends what components you have already and what functionality you ant to get out of it? Do you want the timer, or do you want the remote? Or both? Do you already have the loom behind the fuse pannel in the boot? Have you looked at the workshop manual to see the component location diagram? You should then be able to see what bits you already have and what bits you need. If you read the link I posted about the discovery pre-heater the theory is the same... |

Aux heat and vent can be activated in a HSE and can be set on the mid unit or by remote activation if you plug in the reciever and get a fob what you will need is the ecu programing |

get yourself a range rover and get the idea of a shogun out your head, they are just not in the same league. Whatever spec you are happy with, thats in your budget then go for it. I will be looking for one sometime soon and dont have money to burn, so at this moment i would be happy with any range rover because driving a range rover is what i want more than all the fancy specs! |

when the ecu is programed it gives you the extra vent and heat options and you select them via the buttons under the mid display you also set the time for it to come on using the buttons |
