Totally Outdated.

Prior to start up, I only noticed today that the date on the facia (next to the mileage covered) is 33 days ahead. Shocked

I have so far found no way to change this.

As it may be linked into the mileage recorded, is this only changed by the dealer for security reasons, i.e. InControl etc?

Any advice appreciated.

I already have two dealer jobs on the list, (bonnet fitted out of alignment and steering wheel off-centre) so it's going in anyway soon.

Thought I would be able to do this myself. !!

Changes can be made in the date and time functionality on the head unit. They're both linked.

You have slipped through a worm hole in the time/space continuum. It is nothing to worry about - happens to all of us from time to time. Normally when the wife is prattling on about celebrity big brother, you zone out and - woosh - it is three days later. Just think. Does your wife talk about soap operas? Does your boss have meetings to discuss his next great idea? Do your kids ever want to show off their recently learnt skills on the recorder?

The cure is simple though. On the main infotainment screen, go:
Setup (button to the left of the screen)
System
Clock adjust
On that screen to the right is a button that says "Date".
Press that and adjust to your heart's content.

Thanks guys, I am now in the present World. Glad for your help in bringing me back. Thumbs Up

I do not know why the dates jumped. Hope it does not happen again.

Battery disconnect at some point when it was with the dealer/technician? Then wrongly reset? John
