That's funny - just got back in to the car and it said service due in 1950 miles! It must have known I just posted on the forum!

I reckon it's probably due a service, if not overdue.

They are not infallible. I had one that never seemed to ask for a service. I had to remember to book it in. Went 15 months once. |

They're based on the amount of fuel you use, which is directly affected by how you drive. So if you only do motorway miles, then theoretically it will go on longer before asking for a service, if you do lots of short trips from cold it will ask sooner. If you're lead footed they'll ask for a service sooner.
