Yes the old Rover is gone, this will be my first time in about 20 years I've not had a Rover of some kind in the stable

Went into the local Land Rover dealership for an oil filter so that the FFRR is freshly lubricated when the new owner collect and was telling them they won't be seeing me for a while as I was now Roverless. I've been going to them long before I joined this forum so built up a nice working relationship with the parts guys and they gave me a parting present. It's not Range Rover but it is Land Rover related and will look good hanging on the garage wall

What a nice one, just about in budget for me too and with such a lot done! If only it hadn't been the best part of 400 miles away..... Someone's got a belter.

I have bought it for Mrs Sharkey, the first thing I'm looking forward to is the 1000 mile+ drive home to SW France. Very Happy

Welcome to the forum Marc and congratulations on the purchase of your first FFRR. I hope you become a regular contributor of the forum, there is a wealth of knowledge here and when the search button doesn't find what you're looking for Stan is very good at finding the answers.

No KP no Disco 3 for me, no LR products for the foreseeable future... Big Cry

Taken out of the garage this morning ready to go for a 8 mile drive to warm the oil before draining and refilling with Castrol's finest

Back from my 8 mile drive to heat the oil, it's now draining and I will leave it like that for a while before refilling

Mrs Sharkey has got herself a lovely car. I've seen how he pampers it. It'll be great fun driving it back to France.... At least you don't have to worry about illegals hiding under your car going back the way!! Previously..

It will be a nice addition to our Land Rover garage, with these 2 stable mates.
The black Puma is Mrs Sharkeys daily at the moment, but shoulder problems are making it increasingly difficult for her to manage a manual transmision.Much to her sadness.
Our new FFRR will be kept nice and shiny like the Puma.

Marc and Annette collected the FFRR today, think they were pleased with their purchase and I wish them many happy trouble free miles in it
