To jump it you need a decent car to jump off.

i think its the battery....although it might read 13 odd volts ,it needs that on the crank and if the battery is failing it wont give you that to start the FF.. ... - .- -.

Battery and or alternator problems. Letting them go totally flat just about knackers them. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks for the replies I am going to get the dealer to look at the alternator to see if it is functioning as it should. The battery is only 2 years old and is a Bosch with a 4 year warranty so it shouldn't be that; he says!

Bit of good news found the previous owners receipt for the battery and as its a bosch had a 4 year warranty so called andrew page where it was bought from and they swapped it for free, which was excellent,so brand new battery for nothing and a new 4 year warranty! Let's hope that was the issue in the first place!! Worth people checking the age of their battery and see if it still has warranty if they are having issues! Heavy to get out of the engine bay though!! |

I would be surprised if you got a new 4 year warrenty otherwise you would just keep changing it every 3 1/2 years 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9
