MY2010+ rear lights issue..

Good evening, I have a slight problem with my rear light.

I know it's only small, but it really irritates me :/ .. If I hit it, it eventually goes back to normal, although the dimness does return, and then I gotta hit it again.. Would this be caused by a loose connection, or is it a sign of a dying light?

I saw that on an E-Poke last night, some parts brighter than others. Since they're LED I would imagine it's a dry solder joint or similar. The only way you'll find out is to take it to bits like Stan says.

It's not the easy Stan, the light assembly comes out from the front. I did it by using a Dremel to cut off the lens cover. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

It's a fair old job just to take a look to be honest and I doubt there would be anything to see.

This is what the inside looks like
