Laminated glass has it's advantages and disadvantages, Advantages include better sound insulation and security, down side is if you have to get out after a woopsy, you can't smash the glass and climb out. As far as strength goes, toughened glass is a lot stronger, and harder to brake , but once it's broken it will disintegrate in to thousands of tiny bits . Where as the laminated will crack a lot easier but will stay together in one piece. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
