Intermittent tv reception

Hi Guys, I have had my 2010MY Autobiography for 3 weeks now and love it. V fast but V quiet! In the garage for a bit of work today that the warranty is covering, two lower arms and a CV joint on the Drivers side (£1019) eeek! It needs a details but other than that only one niggling problem.

The TV is intermittent. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. When is doesn't work the box that you should be able to scroll along on in Auto is just full orange and no Channel No is displayed.

Is there anything I can check?

could be down to location...if the houses around you need an aerial to receive freeview then you have no hope in getting it in the FF..drive to a strong signal area and try there.. ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan, It isn't that. If I turn the engine off and lock the doors where it had a signal before the channel number is just
CH-- Nothing.

Any thoughts?

No I lock from the outside and open again. I just don't get it. I have checked the connections I can see but nothing seems to be loose.

Unless I am missing where it is. It must be a power issue but Where would i start?

I don't think so. I can leave it over night and it either works or it doesn't??

Are you in the Clyde valley when you're checking this? I would be surprised if you got any signal at all to be honest. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I am at the top of it and the signal is a bit iffy but still I think the fact there is no channel number is the thing. It doesn't matter where I drive to if it has decided not to work it won't work anywhere.

I thought it may be a damaged cable but surely it would never work if that where the case and when it does work it is perfect.

Hi all, Hope you had a good weekend. This TV thing is still happening. I am making a few assumptions in that it can't be a damaged fibre optic as it wouldn't work at all. So it must be a loose cable. Can someone confirm which unit in the left hand of the boot is the TV tuner and any other leads I should check?

Incase I haven't said already it is a MY2010 Autobiography SC Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Thanks

If you have a warranty, why not ask the garage to take care of it? Ian
