when DAB was introduced in the FF (2009-) it was on a different bit rated MOST system hence the non retro fit to the 2005-2008 models.....if the early jag stuff uses the same bit rate as ours then its feasible that it might work.. ... - .- -.

Hi,can anyone help,
I have a 2010 range rover vogue with an intermittent fault with the telephone losing connection and no DAB working,
I can get all digital tv channels and radio channels just they are trying to reboot sometimes,
Your knowledge would be gratefully received as the dealer wants £110 +vat per hour to even look at it

^as a starting point before booking it in, I would check all the connections in the passenger side read cubby, where all the gubbins is located. Intermittent fault could be a loose connection somewhere. Check the fibre optic wires to and from the telephone module, as if these have been damaged it can cause the unit to falter. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

So the Jaguar route is out then, the Jaguars use the higher bit rate MOST receivers then have a gateway module to step it down to the lower bit rate D2B which the car uses.
