That'll get rebuilt fine. Hard to actually write off a seven figure valued car. I suspect it will go back to AM for a full rebuild on specialist jigs etc. Damn shame though and I imagine the insurance company are wincing a bit right now.

How can the article say it a complete write off? You could shovel the chassis number and a few other bits on the back of a lorry and rebuild the car totally for £250-350k. It's worth double that (they say £1mm but that's more than one's traded at AFAIK). Not possible to write it off.

Is it just my eyes or does it look like an awful lot of body filler under the paint on the offside wing?

Maybe it's just the colour of the primer?

Did the driver see a pair of headlights coming towards him, in a sort of.........reflection?

EMong & mzplcg That was my thinking when reading it. Any thing CAN be rebuilt. It's just a question of whether it makes economic sense. At the value stated, that buys an awful lot of repairs!

I hope the driver and his son are okay.
