I've not done it, but from looking at it it's not especially difficult. The biggest problem is going to be supporting the old one while you remove the fixings, then supporting the new one when you refit the fixings.

Thanks for the reply, I was concerned about the wiring, do you know if it's easy enough to connect back up to the loom etc? Guessing it will just be for rear camera, wiper and lock etc. |

Unless you have a secondhand tailgate, I suspect your biggest problem will be swapping the wiring loom over into the new tailgate.

Even that's fairly easy with some cable draw rods. I think screwfix do them for about £15. |

Wickes do net curtain flex for a quid. Does the job fine.
