Lets hope it is only the head gasket and nothing more serious. Good luck, fingers crossed here MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

My last car's engine failed due to coolant issues too, though it had not got anything like as bad as yours. I was told my options were:

Block EGR and replace that with a bypass pipe for the coolant and job done
